What about the vegetarians? Are they going to be deprived of this delicious treat? A spontaneous answer is: 'Certainly not; for the vegetarians also steaks can be available'.Following is a typical recipe for making a delicious steak for 8 persons to be served at. The name of this dish is "Vegetable Steaks with Roasted Peanuts". Ingredients Required: 1. 2 cubed red peppers, with no seeds 2. 2 cubed yellow peppers, with no seeds 3. 20 red tomatoes4. 8 salad onions topped and cut into 2 in lengths5. 2 baby courgettes cut into chunks6. Groundnut oil or sunflower oil, for grilling7. 5 tablespoons of soy sauce8. 2 garlic cloves, totally chopped into pieces9. 2 teaspoons of sugar10. 1/2 teaspoons of ginger11. Salt and pepper as per the requirements12. 1 teaspoons hot chili powder13. 2 tablespoons dark brown sugar14. 1 cup lemon juice15. 300ml cocoanut milk16. 250 grams unsalted and roasted ground peanuts17. 2 shallots, totally chopped The first step is to prepare the marinade properly. Give 5 tablespoons of soy sauce, the chopped garlic cloves, 2 teaspoons of sugar, 1/2 teaspoons of ginger and salt and pepper as per the tastes in a bowl. Mix all the vegetables (Red pepper, yellow pepper, tomatoes, etc.) into that bowl and dip them totally into the mixture and keep them like this for at least 2 hours. Cover the bowl and stir often. Now, put some oil into the fry pan and fry the shallots into the frying pan adding the chili powder; pan-fry until the shallots become totally brown. After that, put 4 tablespoons of marinade from the bowl, the roasted peanuts, dark brown sugar and the garlic into that frying pan. Blend them well for 10 minutes. On the other hand boil the cocoanut milk and mix it with the frying peanuts once again; mix the lemon juice with this mixture. Stir for about 5 minutes. Once the roasted peanuts stuffed gravy is prepared, threads the vegetables and put them gently inside of the skewers. Do not forget to brush the skewers with some oil beforehand. Grill the marinated vegetables for about 15 minutes or so. Make sure every side is evenly baked and turn the vegetables accordingly. As of now the peanut dressing might be cold. So, reheat the dressing. Serve the vegetables steaks with peanuts dressing sprinkled all over with an array of lettuce leaves. Your delicious green steaks fiesta is ready.
